Welcome to Sortidy. By accessing or using our mobile application ("App") and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use Sortidy.

1. Description of Service

Sortidy is an AI-powered home organization assistant that allows users to catalog physical items using voice commands and images. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyze your content and assist with organization.

2. User Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Sortidy is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your login information.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

• Pro Features: innovative features such as unlimited items, advanced AI searching, and cloud sync may require a paid subscription ("Pro").
• Billing: Subscriptions are billed through the platform store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store) and are subject to their respective payment terms and policies.
• Renewals and Cancellations: Subscriptions automatically renew unless disabled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Management of subscriptions, including cancellation, must be done through your device's App Store settings.
• Refunds: Refunds are handled exclusively by the platform store (Apple or Google) in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

4. User Content and AI Interaction

You retain ownership of the images, voice recordings, and text ("User Content") you upload to Sortidy. However, by using the Service, you grant Sortidy a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, copy, process, and analyze your User Content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you (e.g., to identify items and their locations).

AI Disclaimer: The Service utilizes artificial intelligence. AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or offensive. You acknowledge that reliance on any AI-generated information (e.g., location of an item) is at your own risk.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Upload Content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, or obscene.
• Use the Service for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the App.

6. Intellectual Property

Sortidy and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of Sortidy and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SORTIDY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM (A) YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE; (B) ANY CONDUCT OR CONTENT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SERVICE; OR (C) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, USE, OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR CONTENT.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new Terms on this page. Your continued use of the Service after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
